As mentioned in our last post, broker networking and collaboration is an integral part of the real estate industry. Here is a link to the wonderful post done by our colleagues and friends at Rimontgo in Valencia, Spain. The post is a second part of their three part series on Squaw Valley. This one is titled: Squaw Luna Lodge. Also here is the website for our listing of the property. www.SquawLunaLodge.com . Enjoy.

Squaw Luna Lodge
Friday, June 10th, 2011Broker Networking
Thursday, June 2nd, 2011We are members of www.LuxuryRealEstate.comalso known as Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate. This network is comprised of over 1500 offices in more than 80 countries who sell luxury properties. During our years of involvement we have met, mingled and done business with many of these brokers, both nationally and internationally. Recently I reconnected with Jose Ribes of Rimontgo in Valencia, Spain. He was asking if we had any high end luxury properties that I would like promoted thru his blog and European network. I happily sent him some information and he decided to do a 3 post series on his blog about Squaw Valley and property here. The first one titled: Squaw Valley- a slice of heaven is up to read and enjoy. It is great knowing this article will be translated to several languages and read by many foreigners and possibly foreign investors.
Holiday Weekends at Squaw
Wednesday, June 1st, 2011Memorial Day has come and gone. It was the last weekend Squaw Valley Ski Resort was open for the 2010/11 winter season. Squaw was open for more than 6 months this season, accumulated more than 800 inches of snow and from what I heard had rave reviews about the improved customer service.
Well this past weekend would have fooled anyone. Sunday was the day… everyone decided to come out… the KT line looked like a mid winter powder day with upper mountain closed. The line was exploding out of ropes and the singles were almost to Exhibition. It was something to be a part of the frenzy for skiing during the last weekend of May with 8 to 12 inches of new snow.
Today, June 1st, it is snowing. It is the winter that keeps on coming. The snow is melting around the houses but the resort is still covered. Yesterday Squaw announced they will reopen for 4th of July weekend. They are planning pool parties, BBQs and live music to go along with the skiing. I hope it really warms up between now and then. I think everyone around here could use some sunshine and warmth.
